With over two decades of experience navigating the front lines of cybersecurity, I’ve learned one thing: real security isn’t just about tools or compliance—it’s about leadership.
I’m Susan Crowe, the founder of Anchored Security Consultant LLC, and a seasoned CISO with deep roots in healthcare, government, defense, and mission-driven organizations. Over the years, I’ve worked alongside high-performing teams to navigate complex security challenges—supporting breach recovery efforts, earning the trust of regulators, and helping organizations mature their programs from reactive to resilient.
As a U.S. Navy veteran, I bring discipline, integrity, and operational focus to every engagement. But I also bring empathy. I know what it’s like to sit at the executive table and have to translate cyber risk into business risk. I know how hard it is to protect systems, support teams, and still make the numbers work.
My mission is simple: to deliver security strategies that work in the real world—aligned to risk, grounded in business value, and built to scale.
